My name is Rob Gentilcore, I had my first experience with meditation, in February 1992. Guided by a meditation teacher, he took me through
a visualisation process, of going down some imaginary stairs, deeper and deeper into the underground. The experience lasted 15 - 20 minutes, and when I opened my eyes, I knew I felt different, but found it difficult to explain.
All I knew was that it felt GOOD! 30 years later, it still feels Good, in fact it feels FANTASTIC!!
In what has been a continuous deepening and expanding process, meditation has managed to keep me “intrigued” and fascinated for all these years, and kept me in awe, by the way it keeps ever fresh, new and different, everyday. The simplest way to explain meditation, is that it is a process of “ letting go” sounds simple, right?
Don’t be fooled! Our minds are so preoccupied with “stuff”, that it takes a little time to quieten it down and train it to “ keep still “
But the rewards are HUGE!!
When the mind learns to let go, the body learns to let go as well, because the mind controls the body
So when you have peace of mind, this allows your body to be healthier and stronger, with more energy and vitality, improving your overall WELLBEING
This newly found wellbeing, enhances everything in your life, from creativity to relationships, happiness, connectedness, clarity and focus, mindfulness, love and a deep sense of inner peace. Which allows life to be a whole lot more FUN!
I love this quote… “ You don’t meditate to get good at meditation, You meditate to get GOOD at LIFE “
I couldn’t agree more and this has been so true in my own life..it has helped me so much!
So I'm really looking forward to taking you on a little “inner journey,” travelling together and having some fun along the way I will share with you, everything I have learnt in the last 30 years, with the hope, that you can get at least a “glimpse”, into a world that you carry within you everyday that you might not even know exists
